Mateusz deals with ongoing business support, including the legal aspects of the operation of entrepreneurs engaging the broadly understood industry. For many years, he has been focusing on comprehensive legal services for entrepreneurs from the road building, construction and construction development branches, as well as for automotive businesses, including a public company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Mateusz helps his clients from the business idea stage, creating a legal framework for the organisation, drafting contracts that take into account the individual needs of specific circumstances and investment projects, through participation in their negotiation, and ending with the effective representation of clients in court disputes with a complex factual and legal status. Mateusz also provides legal advice to companies on organizational and corporate issues, including services for company authorities. He also helps in the processes of transforming companies, as related to specific business and investment projects, as well as advises in the restructuring and transformation of enterprises.

Mateusz specializes in litigation representing “Swiss Franc mortgage” borrowers.

Sample projects

Mateusz represents clients from the automotive industry in court proceedings related to the suspension of the FIAT production line, as well as numerous clients of the construction industry in court proceedings regarding the implementation of construction investments based on FIDIC contract clauses. He also provides ongoing legal services to a public company listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, including chairing the General Meetings.

Additional activities

Mateusz completed doctoral studies at the Department of Public Economic Law of the University of Silesia in Katowice (focusing the audit of business concentration by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection). He is also a member of the largest business organization BNI as the vice-president of the BNI SILESIA group in Katowice.

Interests and hobbies

Mateusz loves to spend his free time in winter in the high mountains, he is an alpine skiing instructor, a former competitive athlete. In summer, he may be found kitesurfing. In any extra free time, he is absorbed in a good read or film – mainly of the political thriller and crime genre.
